Elizabeth Caven

Elizabeth Caven is a seasoned entrepreneur with personal experience from the founder's perspective in venture funding and scaling through to acquisition. As a founder, she has received international recognition as a stand-out leader by acclaimed tech publications, the Small Business Administration, and APEC. Previously, Elizabeth invested in and worked with startups through gener8tor, a nationally ranked accelerator ecosystem. Her work with early-stage companies has spanned a variety of industries and includes investing in insurtech startups in partnership with Allianz Life and Securian Financial.

Elizabeth received a BA in Business and Spanish from Cedarville University, and received her MBA at IE University in Madrid, Spain. She loves the credit union philosophy of "people helping people" and has served as a director on the boards of multi-billion dollar credit unions for the past 14 years, including almost 10 years on the board of Veridian Credit Union in Iowa. Elizabeth also sat on The Veridian Group CUSO board for over 6 years. She currently serves as a director of Wings Financial, a Minnesota based institution with $8.5B in assets. Outside of work and volunteering, she spends time with her husband and four children in the Twin Cities.
